Profile of Dr. Uzzal Kumar

Dr. Uzzal Kumar has been teaching philosophy at Bangladesh Open University, Bangladesh since 2013. He has completed his Ph.D. in 2025 at the University of Delhi, Delhi, India in philosophy with a thesis on "Cultural equality and the crisis of Democratic policy in the context of Bangladeshi Ethnic communities" under the supervision of Dr. Balaganapathi Devarakonda, Professor & Former Head, Department of Philosophy, University of Delhi & ICCR Chair for Indology at The University of the West Indies, Mona. Dr. Kumar obtained a Master's from Jahangirnagar University in 2011. He also achieved his Honours degree in Philosophy from Jahangirnagar University in 2010. Dr. Kumar joined the philosophy department in 2013 and was promoted to assistant professor in 2020. His research works have been published in various countries. He has attended national and international seminars and symposiums and has delivered lectures at home and overseas Universities.
